Beat the crowds at Ellerslie’s Premier Garden Party
Beat the crowds at Ellerslie’s Premier Garden Party
Sip a glass or two of bubbles, sample some fine canapés
and be among the first to see the Ellerslie International
Flower Show gardens – without the crowds – with
a ticket to the Premier Garden Party.
The public is invited to experience Christchurch ’s
hottest social event for early 2011, which will be held on
Tuesday 8 March from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. Tickets are $125 each,
the same price as the 2010 party.
Show Managing Director Dave Mee says guests will be able
to mingle with garden designers and wander around the gardens
on the evening before the Show opens to the rest of the public,
while enjoying refreshments and light entertainment.
“It’s a unique opportunity to see the gardens just
after the award-winning designers have been working on them,
and to meet the designers themselves. It’s also a chance
to toast the success of the Show and to be part of the prestigious
awards ceremony which celebrates the opening of Ellerslie.”
Mr Mee says with just a month to go until Christmas, tickets
to the Premier Garden Party are the perfect gift for family
and friends. Tickets, which are limited, are available by

The Premier Garden Party is a charity event and each year
raises funds for the Cancer Society.
