Seed potatoes are of interest to early gardeners to get some trayed up and sprouted. Great if you have a tunnelhouse or a warm raised bed to get an early crop. We have a few younge vege seedlings coming on. Onions, Lettuce, Cabbage, even a few broadbeans if you missed planting time. Not much for flower gardens yet, a few sweetpeas. Our roses are all ready to go and orders are ready to collect. The fruit trees are due next so they should be ready before the end of the month. Time to start prunning, stock up on spraying oil and copper, it's good to give everything a winter clean up. We still have good supply of peastraw at the moment, although what we have now might be the last.DUE TO EXTRA HIGH DEMAND IN FRUIT TREES THERE WILL BE SOME DISAPOINTED PEOPLE, SO PLEASE ACCEPT OUR APOLIGIESWHAT SHOULD YOU BE DOING?:Time to start seedlings in a warm place. Cabbage, Cauli, Lettuce seed sown now will produce seedlings big enough to plant out in six weeks. Tomatoes as well need to go into a warm tray to get them strong enough to plant in spring.
